Kappa Kappa Gamma

The sisters of Kappa Kappa Gamma proudly support two national philanthropies: mental health awareness and the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation.

Through our first philanthropy, we aim to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health, advocating for our peers to live fully and prioritize their overall well-being. This mission is best reflected through our annual De-Stress with Kappa festival, where Binghamton students are encouraged to kick back and enjoy music, pet therapy dogs, participate in fun crafts and games, and more.

The Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation provides undergraduate and graduate scholarships, as well as emergency grants to sisters in need—emphasizing the strength and longevity of sisterhood within Kappa. In support of this, we host numerous fundraisers in collaboration with some of our favorite local restaurants.

Additionally, our chapter supports the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, an organization dedicated to curing blood cancers, improving patient support and access, and promoting further research. This cause holds great importance to Eta Omega, as many of our past sisters have benefited from the organization’s incredible work.

Our fundraising efforts have included car washes with on-campus fraternities and partnerships with local sports teams in Binghamton, such as the Blackbears!

As a chapter, we are passionate and enthusiastic about our philanthropies and support them every chance we get. We are also very involved in our community and plan several service events for our sisters each year.
