Phi Sigma Sigma

The Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation’s philanthropic cause is school and college readiness. At Binghamton, we partner with Binghamton city schools and donate all the funds we raise from our philanthropy and fundraising events to these schools. We also visit the local schools to stay connected with our community and deepen our involvement in the cause we care so deeply about.

By providing the next generation with the resources necessary to succeed in the classroom, we are also helping to prepare them for success beyond high school—whether in higher education or in their future careers.

In the fall, we organized Fall Fest, a philanthropy event where we sold fall-themed treats and hosted seasonal games. We raised over $3,000, which was donated directly to local Binghamton schools.

This past spring, we hosted Phi Sig Phield Day, a powderpuff flag football game between sororities. Each sorority was paired with a fraternity, and participants played in the game, coached, and performed a cheer routine. There were also fun lawn games like Kan Jam and Spikeball, as well as raffles and concessions. This was such a fun event that brought together our Greek life community for a meaningful cause. As a chapter, we raised over $1,000 from Phield Day!

We hope to continue Phield Day this upcoming spring to show our ongoing support for school and college readiness.
