Miss Aphrodite
For the past decade, the Binghamton Panhellenic Council has proudly hosted Miss Aphrodite, a pageant style competition, each year to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. During the pageant, women's organizations compete for the title of Miss Aphrodite through fundraising initiatives, a toga round, a talent showcase, and a formal interview round.

Funds raised by the pageant go directly toward the communities' most urgent needs, such as charitable care for children, research investment, training the next generation of doctors and nurses, and offering families comfort and peace of mind during their most difficult moments.

Over the last three years, Binghamton Panhellenic has raised $62,580 for Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital, subsidizing the initiatives that have been needed most, and supporting more than 12,000 visits made each year by Southern Tier area families.

Miss Aphrodite 2025 was held on November 16th, at the Broome County Forum. We enjoyed another year of friendly competition, and raised a grand total of $16,766.82 for Upstate Golisano thanks to our incredibly hard working and dedicated Vice President of Philanthropy and Community Service, Mackenzie Buscarino, and the countless hours that she put into this event.
